Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.Puget Sound Naval Shipyard at Bremerton Washington, requires the existing controller for car-bottom heat treatment furnace #15 refurbished with an updated process control and data acquisition system (PC&DAS), and the replacement necessary components that are no longer supported by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the furnace, with new components. Work consists primarily of replacing the existing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) unit with a modern Process Control and Data Acquisition System (PC&DAS) unit. It is the Government’s intent that a single (primary) contractor be awarded this contract.Please see attached Combined Synopsis Solicitation for more detail and submission requirements.
