- The U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration (MARAD) is issuing a sources sought notice synopsis as a means of conducting market reseearch to identify parties having an interst in and the resources to support the requirement for replacement of the Fire Detection System onboard the Training Ship State of Maine which is homeport at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, ME.
