- SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY: The United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) - Contracting, located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested sources capable of providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to conduct on-site shredding of unclassified office grade paper waste and media products, such as video tapes and computer diskettes as specified in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). This IS NOT a Request for Quote, but instead a market research method to determine interested sources prior to issuing the solicitation. The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month base period, plus four (4) one-year option periods. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain an indication of interest of all businesses, determine any interest from the small business community, and obtain voluntary limited capability information of those interested sources. A determination by the Government on the method of competing this requirement has not been made. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice. The information provided by the participants is strictly voluntary.If you are an interested source and capable of meeting the entire requirement without failure please provide the following voluntary information: Company name and Point of Contact; DUNS number and CAGE code; Socioeconomic Status (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOB, etc.), if applicable; GSA Schedule Contract Holder Information, to include contract number, if applicable; and A brief Statement of Capability (no more than 5 pages); which addresses the following three questions and demonstrates the ability to meet the requirements specified in the PWS, and includes any Past Performance information on Government contracts of similar size and scope. Do you have the capability to provide all direct labor, equipment, supervision, facilities, and all other items and non-personal services necessary to conduct on-site shredding of unclassified office grade paper waste and media products, such as video tapes and computer diskettes? Do you have the capability to collect bi-weekly, on one day, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm a maximum of 100 bins on approximately 76 locations throughout Fort Bragg and Camp MacKall North Carolina? Do you have the capability to destroy the unclassified office grade paper waste and media products, such as video tapes and computer diskettes as specified in Army Regulation 380-5 Chapter 3 Section V 3-15 (b)?The anticipated NAICS code is 561990 “All Other Support Services”, with a size standard of $12M. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. No feedback will be provided regarding individual capabilities statements. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and/or any follow-up information requests.Capability statements are due no later than 2:00 PM EST on Thursday, 19 December 2019.
