- SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA489720Q0001 and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought.Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 221310 - Water Supply and Irrigation Systems. The size standard for NAICS is $30M. The requirement is to: Remove the existing golf course irrigation system located at the maintenance building at the silver sage golf course and install a new irrigation system compatible with current irrigation hardware located at the Golf Course Maintenance building. Salient Characteristics DRAFT: 1. GENERALSCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all administration, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and services necessary to remove existing golf course irrigation software system located at the maintenance building at the silver sage golf course and install a new irrigation software system compatible with current irrigation hardware. No physical modifications will be made to existing equipment. The irrigation software system will be installed in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer’s specifications and tested. Contractor will provide an industry standards Nation Support Network plan.2. Software MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: Contractor shall provide one (1) National Support Network (NSN) - Irrigation Software System upgrade (Current operating system: Site Pro Central Control).The Irrigation Software System upgrade must (at a minimum) comply with the following salient characteristics:2.1. Characteristics2.1.1. Software2.1.1.1 Capable of servicing Silver Sage’s 18 hole golf course, approximately 5,445,000 square feet.2.1.1.2 Capable of servicing Silver Sage’s approximately 2700 Sprinkler heads.2.1.1.3 Capable of servicing Silver Sage’s 24 Control units (each control unit has 64 station or connectors to run sprinklers).2.1.1.4 Capable of GPS mapping of Silver Sage’s irrigation infrastructure2.1.2. Support Plan (New computer and 36 months of support)2.1.3. System Training 2.1.4. Upgrade software and Client/Server (Current model: 116-0706 Site Pro) 2.1.5. Radio Interface Unit (Current model: RIU-02)2.1.6. Irrigation System Apps2.1.7. Database build and conversion from SitePro3. SPECIFICS: 3.1. Potential shipping and new software system installation must be included in the quotation.3.1.1. Contractor shall deliver to Silver Sage Golf Course - 60 Silver Sage Dr. Mountain Home AFB ID, 836483.1.2. Delivery will be no later than 30 days after date of contract (ADC).Include in your capabilities package your DUNS, Cage Code, and System for Award Management expiration date, and any related specifications/drawings.We are interested in any size business that is capable of meeting this requirement.Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers.All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Also indicate if you are the manufacturer, or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) you will be supplying. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated us of foreign national employees on this effort.NOTE: RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SHALL STATE IF THEY ARE A SUPPLIER OR MANUFACTURER!Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.
