Subject: NATO SEASPARROW Surface Missile System (NSSMS) - Modernize and construction of new LHD, LHA and/or CVN class ships.Solicitation Number: RFP-N63394-20-R-0006/ BOA N00024-16-G-5427 Notice type: SynopsisIAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207 (16) (ii) any responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation that the agency shall consider.Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme (NSWC PHD), located at Naval Base Ventura Country, CA, intends to award a sole source new delivery order to Raytheon Company under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-16-G-5427 in FY 20. The associated justification and approval (J&A) will be posted within 14 days after contract award per FAR 6.305 (a). This requirement is not set aside for small business.The Raytheon Company shall provide all necessary spares parts, kits, or items for modernization and construction of new LHD, LHA, and CVN class ships. This level of effort contract requires the contractor to provide spare parts that consist of specified part numbers and quantities for SSTX (Solid State Transmitter) MK 73 MOD 3 SPARES Kit Assembly, SSTX MK 73 MOD 3 SPARES Kits, SSTX MK 73 MOD 3 Missing Parts Assembly Kits, SSTX MK 73 MOD 3 SPARES Kits Assembly Ship Construction Navy (SCN), GMLS (Guided Missile Launching System) MK29 Mod 4 ESSM ORDALT kits, GMLS MK 29 Mod 5 ESSM ORDALT Kits and MK 29 GMLS Min/Mod ORDALT Kit. Part numbers available upon request.The negotiated sole source new delivery order will include a Firm Fixed Price CLIN 0007 (Spares) with Firm Fixed Price OPTION CLINs 0107,0207 (Spares), and Not Separately Priced (NSP) CLIN 0010, 0110, 0210 Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).A projected Request for Proposal release date for this effort is estimated to be no sooner than 15 calendar days after this notice of the contract action. It will be directed solely to the prospective source identified above.
