- OMAHA DISTRICT POL-MCX Virtual Industry Day - Facilitated by USACE OmahaThere will be a Virtual Industry Day on 18 December 2019 at 1:30 CST to discuss 2 projects that are forthcoming.The Government anticipates that these projects are to be awarded this Fiscal Year, and are anticipated to have a rough order of magnitude in excess of $10M each. The projects include an enclosed DoD Type III hydrant fueling pump house with control room, two aboveground 10,000 barrel operating storage tanks, filter building, distribution piping to existing loop, a new product recovery tank, extension of a fuel transfer line and associated site work.The locations of each project are:Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota and Billy Mitchell AFB, WisconsinQuestions to consider before the Virtual Industry Day include: Do you have experience in this type of work? If so, is the relevant experience with DoD? USACE? Does the experience include the actual removal and replacement as stated above? If awarded, do you plan to subcontract any portion of the contract? If so, what is the estimated percentage of the use of subcontractors? What key evaluation factors does your firm consider when considering subcontractors.
