Description

The Mississippi National Forest, Homochitto Ranger District has issued a solicitation for janitorial services. Major duties and responsibilities are to provide daily cleaning of office space, of approximately 9,036 square feet. The performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods, at the option of the Government. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forth coming periods.All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.The Government has scheduled a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference is in the solicitation.All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
