- Network Contracting Office 21 intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for Project 612-20-015, Replace Fire Sprinkler PVC Pipes and Sprinkler Heads in building 20. The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses and supervision for the replacement of fire sprinkler PVC pipes and sprinkler heads in Building 200, Building per specifications and drawings. Place of performance is 150 Muir Rd, Martinez, CA 94533.Period of Performance is 300 days from issuance of Notice To Proceed.The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available at www.fbo.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through FBO. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of all bidders to frequently check the website for all notices, amendment, etc., regarding this solicitation. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not sent or received by the bidder regarding the solicitation.The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as an IFB conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14 Sealed Bidding.This project is being solicited as a total set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business (SDVOSB).The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238220, Fire Sprinkler System installation, with a small business size standard of $16.5 million.The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.Solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about 5 December 2019.In accordance with FAR 5.203, this notice is being published at least fifteen days before issuance of the solicitation.
