SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH ONLY - This notice does not constitute a solicitation announcement or restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach and NO AWARD will occur from this notice. NO SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS are available for this notice. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified small business sources to include small businesses in the following categories: Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Certified HUBZone, Woman-Owned, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned.Contractors shall demonstrate through company and personnel resumes, executed examples, and supporting customer feedback documentation the ability to provide concurrent repairs to both the east and west levels as follows: Project Information: This project is located in the State of Ohio, in Stark County, next to the city of Massillon, OH. The city of Massillon is protected by two earthen levees on each side of the Tuscarawas River. The West Levee is approximately 4,500 LF in length, and the East Levee is approximately 11,600 LF. The proposed repair will consist of the following major features:-Stone Slope Protection at the toe for 4,000 LF West and 7,500 LF East Levees, for the entire length of both levees.- Excavated material will be hauled to a designated deposal site, and/or placed on-site in beneficial use areas.-Any large debris will be removed and properly disposed.- Any area that’s been disturbed on the project will be returned to original state and seeded.- The contractor will be required to obtain all permits and submit a Traffic Control plan for state approval. The Contractor will need to possess, or have access to, necessary equipment and manpower to place stone on the West and East Levees concurrently.The submission is limited to 15 pages (30 pages front and back), to include: Offeror's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. Offeror's interest in proposing on a solicitation if issued. Offeror's capability to perform a contract of this complexity and examples of comparable work performed within the past 5 years based on the above criteria. Describe the professional qualifications of your firm, and describe your firms’ capacity to perform up the above work concurrently, under stringent timelines, and of high quality. Verification of Small Business Administration (SBA) certification(s).Firms are strongly encouraged to make known their interest and experience in this type of work.
