Description

The contracting activity is Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast. The procuring contracting office is the Kings Bay Support Acquisition Team located at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL and the administering contracting office is the Dry Dock Construction Management Office of the Public Work Department Kings Bay located at the SUBASE Kings Bay, Kings Bay, GA.Authorization to limit competition for provision of the following brand names item is hereby sought. The solicitation will require the installation of compatible equipment required to replace the existing obsolete subscriber loop carrier equipment in the Dry Dock building 5147 sourced from Port Services building 5041. This request to limit competition is for Tellabs 1000 Multiservice Access Platform (MSAP) as outlined in the attached Justification and Approval (redacted) (PDF).
