- Page 3 of 5COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATIONDIESEL MOWERS - CANANDAIGUA VA MEDICAL CENTERThis is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.This solicitation contains BRAND NAME or EQUAL specifications. Only brand name Kubota or Equal items will be considered as specified in paragraph VII. Only brand name OBARHOBKubota or Equal items are requested in accordance with FAR SubPart 6.302-1. No other supply by any other manufacturer will meet agency requirements.(iii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Request for Quote will be submitted through FBO on RFQ reference number 36C24220Q0157.(iv) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95.(v) This procurement is being issued as 100% set-aside for VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (VOSB). It is the Government s intent to issue a firm fixed price, single award as a result of this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333112, Other Commercial and Services industry machinery manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1500 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for VOSBs. (vi) The Contractor shall provide all parts necessary to deliver a Kubota brand name or Equal as specified below. The requested products shall be delivered in new and unused/unopened condition.(vii) Description of requirement: The contractor shall provide as manufactured:Standard Features for mowers (qty 3) will include:Four-wheel drive Rear steerPower SteeringDiesel Engine (37 gross engine horse power engine or greater.)Hand throttleHydro Static Transmission (foot operated)Minimum fuel tank capacity 16 Gal.72 rear discharge mower decks or greaterSuspension seatHard Cab EnclosureROPS protectionSeat beltHour Meter Fuel GageFront and Rear LED work lightsCab HeaterRoof Mounted Strobe Light60 front mounted plow blades or greater (quick connect hydraulic operated angling)Suit case style counter balance weights and mounts.Hydraulic quick connect and remotes for listed attachments.Additional attachments to be run on either machine when neededQty 3- 51 wide or greater 2 stage Snow Blower w/ electric chute deflector kit.Qty 3- Rotary Broom with side caster wheel kit.Data Requirement: operator, parts, and repair manuals shall be included for machines and attachments.Standard Warranty Required: Minimum 1 year warranty on all parts and 6 month labor warranty Only offers meeting the above specifications shall be considered.
