Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICEThe Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 is conducting market research to help determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified vendors who can install and replace the current Veeder Root Equipment with new/updated equipment and tying back into the original Veeder Root Equipment. If the Wichita, KS VAMC install a different manufacturer s equipment they would have to revamp entire design, costing more money for the government and time. The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, Wichita KS is seeking proposals to provide installation of new Underground Storage Tank (UST) & Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) Monitoring & Leak Detection System W/Printer Consoles, and all necessary equipment/software for the new monitoring system, and removal of the current (USTs) & (ASTs) Monitoring & Leak Detection Systems (Veeder Root TLS-350 panels and all associated equipment and materials). The successful bidder will provide turn-key project management and installation of required equipment, probes/sensors, software to manage/generate test reports/regulatory reports and provide Cat 6 cable to communicate/connect all the listed Buildings to the Main Monitoring station located at Building 13. The Successful bidder will deliver materials as described in Section 1 Purpose: To implement a fully turnkey Underground Storage Tank (UST) & Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) Monitoring & Leak Detection System at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center (RJDVAMC) in Buildings 13, 31, 26, 34, 2. The facility currently has Veeder Root TLS-350 W/Printer Consoles UST & AST Monitoring & Leak Detection Systems installed on Buildings 13, 31, 26, 34, 2, with the main monitoring station located in Building 13. The current UST & AST Monitoring & Leak Detection System with Veeder Root has performed very successfully for many years. The facility is seeking a UST & AST Monitoring & Leak Detection System that is an efficient, modern, trouble-free, updated version of our current Veeder Root system. The new UST & AST Monitoring & Leak Detection System will need to meet the technical specifications, standards, performance of a TLS4I for Building 13 and a TLS4C on Buildings 31, 26, 34, 2, and the system will need to meet the regulations/requirements for USTs and ASTs set forth by Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), Kansas Administrative Regulations (KAR) 28-44-12 thru 28-44-29 and the EPA, 40 CFR Part 280. The new UST & AST Monitoring & Leak Detection System will allow end users to receive real time information concerning the state of specific tank, probes, sensors (state meaning: temperature readings, tank level readings etc.), receive alarms/alerts when the monitored areas fall outside of designated acceptable ranges, and provides easy report generation for all required regulatory reports and inventory level reports.
