Description
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate (S&T) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) welcomes your participation at an upcoming Industry Day and on an RFI focused on IT Support Services.The S&T OCIO supports S&T by providing the right people, technology, property, security, and processes to support the S&T mission. S&T includes approximately 2000 staff in Washington, D.C. and laboratories in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Alabama and Florida. DHS S&T OCIO requires professional technical support services to assist the various organizations, missions, functions, and objectives enabling DHS S&T to integrate innovative technology into everyday use by the DHS operational components. DHS S&T IT support will include Systems Engineering (Network, Cloud), Information Assurance (Information System Security Officers (ISSO), Security Operations Center (SOC) Engineers and Analysis, Compliance Officers), IT Governance, Collaborative Solutions (SharePoint) and IT Operations and Maintenance. DHS S&T requires this support to maintain and evolve its organizations and strengthen the Homeland.The Industry Day will be held on December 9, 2019 in Washington, DC. The purpose of this Industry Day is to seek industry insights and feedback on the function areas included in the draft statement of work for the purpose of market research. While full industry participation is encouraged, seating is limited, therefore, we will be giving registration preference to small businesses under NAICS 541512. Small businesses are requested to register by 12/2/2019 at 3pm Eastern time to ensure priority registration. Registration for non-small businesses will be capped at 25 attendees prior to 12/2/2019 at 3pm. Registration will close at 3pm on 12/3/2019 for all attendees. Attendees may now register on the CVENT website included as a link with this posting. The website provides more information on the event. All vendors are invited to ask questions on the draft SOW to be addressed at the Industry Day. Questions may be submitted via the registration tool, directly to Melanie.Wilson@hq.dhs.gov and Carolyn.Lethert@hq.dhs.gov, or in person on the day of the event. The deadline for question submission via email or the registration tool is December 2, 2019 at 3pm Eastern time. The Government will post the questions and answers via an update to this announcement by Friday December 13, 2019. Vendors are also invited to respond to the attached RFI. RFI Submissions shall be submitted no later than Tuesday December 17, 2019 at 11am Eastern time.Any other questions on the Industry Day and RFI may be submitted to Melanie.Wilson@hq.dhs.gov and Carolyn.Lethert@hq.dhs.gov.
