- The National Park Service (NPS) will be contracting to Replace a fiber-cement and fiberglass shingle roof with a synthetic slate roof over the Main House located within Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site (CARL). Also, replace the asphalt shingle roof of the park Administration Headquarters building. Location of Project 1800 Little River Rd, Flat Rock, NC, 28731, Henderson County, NC. Please see attached Statement of Work documents for details.TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed PriceThis proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set aside.The NAICS code is 238160 and the size standard is $16.5 Million In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000.A site visit will be conducted at 8 am on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Carl Sandburg Historic Site, Headquarters Building.
