- SOURCES SOUGHT:THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for these circuit breakers in accordance with SAE AS5692A -- ARC Fault Circuit Breaker (AFCB), Aircraft, Trip-Free, Single Phase and Three Phase 115 VAC, 400 Hz - Constant Frequency, and the associated specification sheets, for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL-AS5692). SAE AS5692 is available from www.sae.orgThese circuit breakers are manual reset, trip-free Arc fault/thermal for use in aircraft electrical systems conforming to MIL-STD-704.THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-AS5692 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in SAE AS5692A. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by SAE AS5692A. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6). The SD-6 is available at ASSIST, https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ (enter SD-6 in the “Document ID” search box).
