- Description
- The proposed contract action is for Controls Design Revalidation and Assessment at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) Biosafety levels (BSL)-3/4 located on Fort Detrick, Maryland. Dynamic testing conditions include cold system startup and shutdown, loss of primary supply fan, loss of exhaust fan, and maintenance changeover of supply and exhaust fans, as well as, decontamination modes.This Notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions (FAR 5.2). This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that award will be made, within approximately forty-five (45) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capacity to meet this requirement.Please email responses to Ms. Qiana Bowman-Spencer at Qiana.L.Bowman-Spencer@usace.army.mil.
