Contiguous space on a single floor is required. If space is located on 2nd floor or higher, the floor load of the space must be able to accommodate a higher than usual load factor or have the ability to be increased for required file safes.Agency cannot be collocated with Public Defenders, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Probation Offices or other businesses or facilities deemed unacceptable by the Tenant’s Physical Security Unit for security purposes. Space will be considered on a site by site basis based on security assessments and potential methods of remediation.Proposed locations shall not be located in the immediate vicinity of any facilities identified by the ISC as “hazardous materials transportation/ storage facilities”. Examples include fuel storage areas, gas stations, chemical manufacturing facilities, and railroad lines transporting hazardous material. It is preferred not to be located near daycare centers, senior centers, schools, hospitals and religious/rehabilitation social service centers. Potential sites will be carefully reviewed with agency security guidelines and at the governments discretion, may be eliminated from consideration on a case by case scenario.Proposed spaces or facilities in close proximity of adjacent to facilities associated with foreign powers identified in the Tenant’s National Security Threat List will not be considered. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required.
