Description

General Service Adminstration is seeking contractor to submit proposals for USMS Richard B, Russell Federal Building Security Upgrades Location: 75 Ted Turner Dr. SW, Atlanta, GA 30303. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and testing for the replacement and installation of multiple security changes and upgrades in multiple locations within the Richard B. Russell Courthouse in Atlanta, GA. Work may be done during normal work schedule or after-hours. Work must meet all applicable codes, building standards, manufacturers requirements, and standards of workmanship. The contractor is expected to be sufficiently knowledgeable is this type installation to complete the scope of work in a manner that will result in the intended functional product in accordance with the Statement of Work dated 06/11/2019 (7 pages). It is the contractor responsibility to visit the site and to include all work necessary for a complete job. Background Investigations will be conducted for all contractors working on this project. If the project is less than six (6) months, a short-term investigation will be conducted for each applicant. This background investigation will be valid for the duration of the project. If the project is greater than six (6) months, a long-term investigation (NACI) will be conducted for PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:The period of performance : is 180 days.GENERAL INFORMATION: Estimated Construction Cost Range: Between $100,000 and $250,000. BASIS OF AWARD: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) the Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract resulting from this solicitation.Applicable Davis Bacon General Decision Number: GA20190134 06/28/2019 Superseded General Decision Number: GA20180146 State: Georgia Construction Type: Building County: Fulton County in Georgia BID BOND Performance/Payment Bond: Successful Offeror will be required to submit a Payment Bond. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: In accordance with the liquidated damages clause Section III (Terms and Conditions) liquidated damages shall be calculated at a rate of $302.38 per calendar day.CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE:Successful Offeror will be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance in accordance with FAR Clause 52.228.5 within 10 days of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
