- Description
- This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include one NSN to support the AH-64 weapon systems. The NSN targeted to be added or repriced for this contract effort is NSN: 4330-01-681-2281; Part Number: 7-562104012-607, NOUN: SERVICING CART; with the following specifications; AMRC Code: 4D with an AMC/AMSC expiration date of 7/12/2024. The required Production Lead Time will be 540 days after contract award. The proposed sole source action will be issued to Boeing Company, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE): 8V613 and is intended to be on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Items provided by the following Boeing CAGE codes covered by this acquisition: 32562, 022T1, 02731, 1GTA0, 18355, 4PF93, 48D66, 17765, 48T42, 0APX0, 0PXV4, 38YR6, 94756, 18441, 48BM4, 48LF5, 43999, 81205, 82918, 8V613, 76301 and 77272.The proposed requirement will be for a total of five year period of performance as follows, Year One: 17 September 2019 through 16 September 2020, Year Two: 17 September 2020 through 16 September 2021, Year Three: 17 September 2021 through 16 September 2022, Year Four: 17 September 2022 through 16 September 2023, and Year Five: 17 September 2023 through 16 September 2024. The annual demand quantity is 10 units for year one and 5 units each year for years two through five. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. NSN: 4330-01-681-2281 is the item identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.This item is being added to contract SPRPA1-14-D-002U, a firm fixed price with price redetermination Indefinite Quantity Contract, awarded to The Boeing Company CAGE Code: 0PXV4 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSN identified here was not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
