Description
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Columbia-Pacific Northwest Regional Office, in Boise, ID is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to acquire information from industry regarding the proposed replacement of existing fish screens, for the Roza Diversion Dam, Fish Screen Modification, Roza Project, Yakima, Washington.This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the �Beta� System for Award Management (beta.SAM.gov) https://beta.sam.gov/ website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.1.0 Instructions1.1 Review attachments, 1. Draft Specification Section 35 21 42, Fish Screen Assembly, 2. Roza Fish Screen Drawings, 3. Fish Screen Questions, and 4. Contractor Capability Statement.1.2 Provide responses to the BOR generated questions found in attachment 3. Responses to the attached BOR generated questions will not be publicized.1.3 Provide contractor capability statement, attachment 4.1.3 If, after reviewing the draft specification section 35 21 42, Fish Screen Assembly, you desire to provide feedback and/or recommendations, you should provide these in written documentation electronically along with the completed attachments (3) and (4) to Eric G. Gonzalez at egonzalez@usbr.gov.2.0 Description of Work2.1 Performance shall be onsite at the Bureau of Reclamation, Roza Diversion Dam located on the Yakima River near the city of Yakima, Washington in Kittitas County.2.2 Work includes structural concrete modification, handrail installation, fishscreen/gate valve assembly installation and electrical and communications support installation.2.3 The order of magnitude for this project is expected to be between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.3.0 Summary3.1 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY, this is NOT a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bids, and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this RFI.3.3 Please submit responses to this notice electronically (via email) to Eric G.
