- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), intends to enter into a sole source procurement with MDXHealth, Inc.; 15279 Alton Parkway Suite 100; Irvine, CA 92618. The procurement is for Risk Stratification Tests to determine a patient s risk of developing prostate cancer and/or if the patient will require additional prostate biopsies. The test is used to: detect methylation in genes associated with prostate cancer and for men with an abnormal digital rectal exam (DRE) and/or elevated PSA and normal histology to identify men who have underlying occult cancer for re-biopsy and those patients who may avoid unnecessary repeat biopsies. The Government shall only accept the ConfirmMDx Test as this is a brand name only acquisition. NAICS code 621511 applies to this procurement with a size standard of 35 Million. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. Vendors must be authorized by MDXHealth, Inc. to provide the above test/analysis and shall provide proof to that extent. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement shall submit information to: Katie Lavely, Contracting Officer, at Katie.Lavely@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 pm, EST on December 16, 2019. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
