- Pursuant to FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), the action being approved is an exception to fairopportunity. This justification authorizes the exercise of an option to extend the period ofperformance of Task Order SP4701-17-D-0049-0003 under the J6 Enterprise TechnologyServices (JETS) Contract Vehicle for a 4 month period in accordance with FAR 52.217-8- Option to Extend Services. The Government has a requirement for the continuedsustainment of systems under the Recruit Training Center (RTC) Supply ChainManagement System, to include developing and implementing an update to the currentsystem technology and incorporating additional requirements. The RTC systems arecritical to the DLA Troop Support’s Clothing & Textiles (C&T) Directorate. The TaskOrder extension will be awarded to Yahya Technologies under 10 U.S. C. 2304(c)(1) asimplemented by FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B).
