- Special Notice to award under Solicitation: W81K0220Q0038Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office- Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Cell, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K0220Q0038 to Aesculap Implant System LLC in the amount of $50,000.00 for CeSpace XP Interbody System spinal implants for 03 Priority patient surgical procedures, at Department of Anesthesia and Operative Services / Madigan Army Medical Center Tacoma WA. The Surgeon has made the determination that these products will best meet the patient’s needs during surgery & recovery and these products must be FDA Approved.This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, email; walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil . No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
