Description

This is a synopsis for facility management/construction in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Under the authority of FAR Parts 15 and 36, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport is soliciting and intends to award a sole source contract for a HVAC Controls Replacement Project in accordance with the Statement of Work. Only one source will satisfy agency requirements. A firm fixed price contract will be issued to TRANE U.S. Inc., La Crosse, WI. This requirement is being issued for facility management/construction in accordance with FAR 5.203. A Sources Sought notice using solicitation number N0025318Q0318 was issued via the Federal Business Opportunities website on September 7, 2018. No responses were received in response to the Sources Sought notice.The solicitation number for this requirement is to be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) N0025319R0017. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating for this requirement is DO-C2. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. All questions regarding this synopsis should be submitted in writing and e-mailed to robert.v.fisher@navy.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this notice should reference solicitation N0025319R0017 and must be received by December 30, 2019 10:00am Pacific Time.
