- Description
- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) provides a comprehensive education program consisting of 8 schools and the District Superintendent’s Office (DSO), grades Pre?Kindergarten (Pre?K) through High School for eligible dependent children of Department of Defense personnel. The purpose of this requirement is to obtain a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for comprehensive maintenance services to include Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) preventative maintenance (PM), on-demand (defined as either repairs or emergency repairs) repair services, and inspections. Repair work may include but is not limited to carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, fire protection, metal work and roofing as described in this PWS up to the Demand Maintenance Threshold (DMT). This contract shall not be used for constructing new facilities nor additions to existing facilities.The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and other items necessary to provide PM, inspections, and on-demand repairs (materials for repairs shall be invoiced separately) services for all locations described below for sustainment, restoration and modernization of the DoDEA school systems. The contractor shall also provide a point of contact (POC) 24/7/365 (24 hrs/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year) for all locations to respond to emergency calls at any of the DoDEA school locations within 1 hour of receiving the phone call. It is unknown if any single building with the locations listed that are being utilized by DoDEA may close, however this is a possibility.The period of performance shall be for one 12-month base year with four potential 12 month option years to be exercised at the discretion of the government.
