Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is N6833520Q0061 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333991. This requirement is a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.UnisonMarketplace.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 07-Jan-2020 at 14:30 Eastern Standard Time. The NAWC-AD Lakehurst requires the following items:LI 001: Quackenbush hand feed drill conversion kits P/N 158QDGA-HF-RAD, including installation, onto existing Quackenbush drills in accordance with the Buy Attachments listed on the UNISON MARKETPLACE, nine (9), each.Solicitation and Buy Attachments can be found on the UNISON MARKETPLACE at:https://marketplace.unisonglobal.com/fbweb/shareBuyDetails.do?t1=1&t2=%3DQOp9dSI7PwgIAAAAAHeAAgAgTFCGg%2FFzzqQbJAAyVXBA0Or ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond via the 'Submit a Question' feature located on the UNISON MARKETPLACE.***For this solicitation, Department of the Navy intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction (Buy #:1008700) to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, Unison, Inc. UNISON MARKETPLACE has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. Department of the Navy is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.UnisonMarketplace.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.UnisonMarketplace.com.
