No other terms and conditions, documents or information, were changed in this amendment. The proposal due date remains unchanged.----- ------ ----- -----AMENDMENT ----- AMENDMENT ----- AMENDMENTOn 10 Dec 2019, an amendment was made to this combined synopsis/solicitation in order to add the Statement of Work (SOW) as an attachment. This document was not included in the initial posting in error. No other terms and conditions, documents or information, were changed in this amendment. The proposal due date remains unchanged.----- ------ ----- -----This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (“synopsitation” hereafter), which is expected to result in awardof a Firm Fixed Price contract for a commercial item, i.e. Tensile Stage and Load Cell, as describedunder the attachment titled “Statement of Work.” The synopsitation is prepared in accordance with theformat in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals arebeing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is conducted as a commercialitem procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). An award, if any, will bemade to the responsible offeror based upon (1) following the requirements of the synopsitation; (2) theability to comply with the minimum requirements stated in the Statement of Work (SOW) by providing acomplete description of the equipment provided; and (3) Price. The Government reserves the right toaward without discussions or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of proposals receivedand (2) whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable.Synopsitation Number: FA8601-20-Q-0030The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334519, Other Measuring andControlling Device Manufacturing. This acquisition will be Full and Open Competition.Synopsitation Closing Date: Proposals must be received not later than 12:00 PM, Eastern StandardTime, on 23 Dec 2019.Submit electronic proposals via e-mail to Eric LaGasse at eric.lagasse@us.af.mil;Alternate: Michael R. Bonham at michael.bonham.1@us.af.milAny correspondence sent via e-mail must contain the subject line “Synopsitation: Tensile Stage andLoad Cell.” The entire proposal must be contained in a single e-mail that does not exceed five (5)megabytes including attachments, if any. E-mails with compressed files are not permitted. Note that emailfilters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or withsuspicious subject lines or contents (i.e., .exe or .zip files). Therefore, if the specified subject line is notincluded, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters. Also be advised that .zip or .exe files are notallowable attachments and may be deleted by the email filters at Wright-Patterson. If sendingattachments with email, ensure only .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls or .xlsx documents are sent. The email filtermay delete any other form of attachments.Address questions regarding this synopsitation to Mr. Eric LaGasse, via e-mail at eric.lagasse@us.af.mil.A detailed description of the requirement including period of performance, provisions and clauses,representations and certifications, and specifications are provided in the attached documents.
