Small business size standard is $16.5 million. Product Service Code (PSC) is J041(Maintenance and Repair of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Equipment)BACKGROUND:THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 10: MARKET RESEARCH. This notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future.� This notice does not commit the Federal Government to contract for any services at this time.Further, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23/Sioux Falls Services Team is not at this time seeking offers and will not accept unsolicited offers.� Respondents are advised that the Federal Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Federal Government to form a binding contract.� Although the term offeror is used in this notice, your respective organization s response will be treated as information only and shall not be used as an offer.OBJECTIVE:The objective of this notice is to conduct market research to determine Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), or Small Business (SB) sources capable of providing chiller maintenance per this notice under NAICS 238220 for the VA Central Iowa Health Care System (CI).DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE:1. Contractor to provide Chiller Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services for four (4) Chillers: Two (2) York chillers, one (1) Carrier chiller, and one (1) Trane chiller for the VA Central Iowa Health Care System located at 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, IA 50310-5753.2. Contractor will perform Major Operating Inspection, Routine Operating Inspection, AnnualPreventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance to include routine and emergency service calls.3. Equipment List: Each York Chiller Consists of (but is not limited to) a shell, compressor, operatingcontrols and compressor motor control center.York Rotary Screw Chiller. Serial# 912067 located in Bldg. 1W room W03York Rotary Screw Chiller. Serial# 932371 located in Bldg. 1W room W03Carrier Centrifugal Chiller. Serial# 75822 located in Bldg. 4 room 120Trane Chiller. Serial# C0J61745 located on the second-floor roof of bldg. 54. If not, how much percentage work would offeror anticipate performing as Prime Contractor and how much percentage work would offeror be subcontracting to another SDVOSB, VOSB, SB, or Large Business entity.
