- Description
- The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition Integration (SAF/AQX) oversees Air Force acquisition and program management activities totaling an annual budget in excess of $58 billion for more than 460 acquisition programs. Contractor subject matter expertise is needed to rapidly and efficiently execute these programs.The Contractor shall provide highly-technical subject matter expertise regarding the defense industrial base supporting the Air Force to include analysis of defense funding patterns and impact upon industry, acquisition strategies and industry positioning regarding the strategy, health or important events regarding key defense contractors, and contractor execution which may introduce program-execution challenges. The Contractor shall highlight potential issues arising, inform the Government of potential mechanisms of action, and integrate known-information on service priorities, available funding, risks associated with specific program requirements and Contractor strengths & weaknesses. The Contractor shall also advise on program related items that have Congressional interest including the National Defense Authorization Act and annual appropriations acts. The Contractor shall provide all services, materials, supplies, and equipment as required by this Performance Work Statement (PWS).
