- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO PINKSTON GROUP, INC. FOR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES.The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of Office of the Chief Management Officer (OCMO) Washington, DC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Pinkston Group, Inc., 3110 Fairview Park DR Suite, 1400, Falls Church, VA 22042 using r Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). The anticipated period of performance is for a base period of twelve months with one-twelve month option period.WHS/AD intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Pinkston Group Inc to provide Strategic Communication Services. The contract is intended to provide effective external strategic communications support to include media engagement, media inquiries, external speaking engagements, and other external events attended by the Department of Defense (DoD), Office of the Chief Management Officer (OCMO).This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
