Description

Purpose: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the preventative maintenance services on the Security Gates, Wedge Barriers and all associated equipment located at the Manhattan VA Medical Center.Authority: Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-solicitation Notices.Description: New York Harbor Health Care System (NYHHCS) has a need for quarterly preventive maintenance services on security gates and wedge barriers (and all associated equipment) at the Manhattan VA Medical Center. Services shall comply with the original end manufacturer s manuals and warranty requirements (Guardiar/ formerly SecureUSA, Inc).Equipment to be serviced: Entrance A (2) Metal Vehicular Swing Gates with (2) Door King Series 6550-080 operators with an ASSA ABLOY M62FG-SASM electromagnetic lock 1 Loop for Gate Safety EMX Inc. Model IRB-4X photoelectric sensor EPU and Controls Ornamental Pedestrian Gate with door closer Locinox Entrance B (2) Metal Vehicular Swing Gates with HY-Security Swing Riser 19 operators- Twin Power Unit Model: HRG222-B ST High-Security Vehicle Barricade of recessed mounted Wedge type (3600 Series Wedge Barrier) 3 Loops. (1) Gate Safety Loops and (2) Barrier Safety Loops. EMX Inc. Model IRB-4X photoelectric sensor Barrier Indicator Light and Signal Guys 290LFMT4 Light and Horn Set EPU and Controls Ornamental Pedestrian Gate with door closer Locinox Entrance C (2) Metal Vehicular Swing Gates with HY-Security Swing Riser 19 operators - Twin Power Unit High-Security Vehicle Barricade of recessed mounted Wedge type (3600 Series Wedge Barrier) 3 Loops. The total contract period of performance is 5 years.Government-Furnished Property/Equipment: None noted at this time.Release Date of the Solicitation: It is anticipated that Solicitation No. 36C24220Q0058 will be released November 11, 2019. These commercial maintenance services are being procured to support commercial items customarily used by the general public, per commercial item definition FAR 2.101.
