- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue RFP N00024-14-R-2415 and award a contract on a sole source basis to Huntington Ingalls Incorporated (Ingalls Shipbuilding), 1000 Access Road, Pascagoula, MS 39568 for Planning Yard Interface and Life Cycle Engineering and Services (LCE&S) support efforts for LPD 17 Class Amphibious Transport Dock Ships, as well as necessary Spares. The resulting contract will be awarded on a sole source basis because Ingalls is uniquely qualified with the requisite background, knowledge, and experience required. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. If a solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via FEDBIZOPPS and interested parties must comply with that announcement. This is not an RFP or a promise to issue an RFP and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
