- This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The Regional Contracting Command - Afghanistan (RCC-A) has an urgent need for local Afghan contractors with the capability to remove asbestos from two large buildings on Bagram Airfield (BAF), Afghanistan. RCC-A is anticipating using 886 procedures in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 225.7799.Vendors interested in participating in this acquisition shall submit the following: Company Name Company DUNS and CAGE Code Answer the following questions: Is your company currently registered in JCCS? What is your JCCS ID? Capability Statement. This statement shall demonstrate the vendor’s successful performance of projects similar in scope and size. To demonstrate successful performance, the vendor shall provide a (1) summary of project scope (2) dollar value of project (3) project period of performance (4) Awarding Contracting Officer name, phone number, and email address. Vendors are encouraged to submit up to three similar projects either completed or currently performing. Capability statements shall be no more than 10 pages. Points of contact. Please provide two points of contact including names, email addresses and phone numbers.All responses shall be submitted in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat format. All responses shall be submitted to nia.m.holloway.ctr@mail.mil no later than Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 10:30 am Afghanistan local time.
