- The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH)/Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy (OIDP) will be hosting two events to assist with market research and also to engage the vendor community in responding to the above-mentioned solicitation.The events are as follows: INDUSTRY INFORMATION DAY: The Industry Information Day is scheduled for December 18, 2019. The meeting begins promptly at 9:00 am EST. THIS IS A VIRTUAL EVENT. Only the entities that register for the event will be allowed to join. The purpose of the Industry Information Day is to go over the process and procedures as listed under Sections L and M of the Request for Proposal (RFP). PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE: The Preproposal Conference is scheduled for December 20, 2019 (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at Hubert H. Humphrey, 200 Independence Avenue, S.W. Washington, DC 20201.Check-in for pre-registered participants begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. EST, with the event start time at 11:00 a.m. EST. Due to space limitation, entities that do not pre-register may not be allowed to attend. THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL EVENT.The purpose of Preproposal Conference is to provide information from the Government program officials regarding the background, goals, and structure of the PrEP Implementation and Dissemination program and to solicit input and questions from potential vendors.This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) or a commitment by the United States (U.S.) Federal Government. The U.S. Federal Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of these two events. The information obtained from the events will be utilized for market research purposes. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of the vendor’s participation in these event.To participate, interested vendors shall: For the Industry Information DayRSVP via E-mail by no later than December 17, 2019 by 3:00 p.m. EST to Ms. LaTarsha Rogers at lrogers@hrsa.gov. Please note: The Industry Information Day will use Adobe Meeting Room for the presentation.Your RSVP must include the following: Company Name Each attendee’s name, address and e-mail. The e-mail provided will be used to provide log-in information and to monitor attendance. For the Preproposal ConferenceRSVP via e-mail by no later than December 18, 2019 by 3:00 p.m. EST to Ms. LaTarsha Rogers at lrogers@hrsa.gov. Your RSVP must include the following: Company Name Each attendee’s name as listed on a Government-issued identification (ID). The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) requires a Governmentissued photo ID to enter the building. Acceptable identification includes an U.S. driver’s license, Permanent Residence Card (green card), U.S. passport, or stateissued ID from one of the 50 U.S. states. Each attendee must be identified in advance, and only advance substitutions (2 days in advance notice) shall be permitted. Please note: Non U.S. Citizens require special preregistration approval and will not be able to be substituted. Attendee’s name, and e-mail. Not allow any recording, cameras, tape recorders, or other reproduction devices during the event. Require that your cell phones be put away during the presentation.
