Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Apex Innovations, located at 3909 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, Building K, Lafayette, Louisiana 70503. Apex Innovations will provide multiple web-based training programs and associated tools and materials. Apex Innovations is the only commercially available complete program capable of replacing the current live classes for Basic Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation (BCRI) and Electrocardiograph (ECG) 12 lead educational requirements for required annual chest pain center accreditation. Apex utilizes Impuse 3.0 which is the only online chest pain and ECG competency series meeting all key educational elements required annually for chest pain center accreditation. The place of performance is for the Veterans Affairs VISN 15 facilities: Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital 800 Hospital Dr, Columbia, MO 65201The NAICS code is 611430 with a size standard of $11.0 Million. The solicitation number is 36C225520Q0095. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) month Base year plus four (4) option years.This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT December 20, 2019 at 3:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement, Notice of Intent. If after December 20, 2019 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Apex Innovations.This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes.
