Description

Notice of Availability: Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has received a request by the Santa Rosa County, Florida for a lease for approximately 200 acres, more or less of land for the purpose to operate, repair and maintain a Rapid Infiltration Basin System (RIBS) waste water treatment facility on Eglin AFB property. This notice is to see if any other interest exists for said property. Summary of the outgrant terms and conditions: Lease period will be for a term of twenty-five (25) years. Cost of lease of property will be at a minimum equal to fair market value. Lease will be at no cost to the United States Air Force. Grantee will be responsible for all administrative costs associated with the lease. Lease will be limited for the exclusive use of a RIBS wastewater treatment facility. Eglin AFB has received a request for a lease from Santa Rosa County, FL and the 96th Test Wing Facilities Board gave conceptual approval to the prospective Lessee, which is to be used for the purpose of operating, repairing and maintaining a RIBS waste water treatment facility on Eglin AFB property. At the completion of the lease, grantor has complete discretion in granting a renewal and can consider, by way of example and not by way of limitation, the past practices of grantee on the Installation, the timeliness of grantee's request for renewal relative to requests by other entities for similar leases and the changing communications requirements of the government.
