THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR Exploration Extravehicular Movement Unit (xEMU) Boots Assembly Development Prototype. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to grant an extension of proposal acceptance from December 18, 2019 until January 6, 2020, and to delete the provision "JSC 52.215-108 PROPOSAL MAKING AND DELIVERY THROUGH BETA.SAM.GOV (AUG 2018)" and to replace it with the following:DELIVERY OF QUOTES/PROPOSALSQuestions are due no later than Wednesday, December 11, 2019 by 4:30 P.M. CST, and all quotes/proposals are due no later than Monday, January 6, 2020, by 4:30 P.M. CST. Delivery of questions, quotes, and proposals are to be submitted electronically via email to the following individual:Lamar Mueller at Perry.L.Mueller@nasa.govThe due date for receipt of offers is extended to January 6, 2020.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the beta.sam.gov on December 5, 2019. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation number 80JSC020R0014 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101.NASA is seeking a qualified contractor(s) to provide the design and delivery of Exploration Extravehicular Mobility Unit (xEMU) Boot Assembly Prototypes. The Prototype xEMU Boot Assemblies shall be designed and fabricated to meet the architectural, functional, interface, structural, environmental, and design & construction requirements listed in the requirements document. SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK Delivery to NASA is required within 7 months ARO. Offerors are also required to complete 52.227-15 REPRESENTATION OF LIMITED RIGHTS DATA AND RESTRICTED COMPUTER SOFTWARE. (DEC 2007) and the provision IDENTIFICATION AND REPRESENTATION OF LIMITED RIGHTS DATA AND RESTRICTED COMPUTER SOFTWARE (PRE-AWARD).FAR 52.212-4 (OCT 2018), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and the addendum to 52.212-4 is applicable. See attached RFQ.FAR 52.212-5 (MAY 2019), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable. See attached RFQ.
