- Description
- The 51st Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) on Osan Air Base, South Korea request to purchase the items listed below to build a Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) Soil Install and Calibration Kit. The MAAS is intended to slow and stop tail-hooked enabled aircraft (F-15, F-16, F-18) when safely landing on runways on Osan AB. Items should be able to withstand the landing speed. Contractor installation is NOT required.
