Description
(i) INTRODUCTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(ii) SOLICITATION TYPE: This combined synopsis/solicitation, W911QY20R0013, is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by Natick Contracting Division (NCD). The government intends to award a single contract from this notice. The Government intends to award without discussions, however, the contracting officer reserves the right to enter into discussions if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government.(iii) CURRENTNESS: The Solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-01 Effective 12 November 2019.(vi) REQUIREMENT: The Government requires **five** mobile refrigerator/freezers meeting the following salient characteristics: The unit must be mobile and weigh no more than 58 kg (128 lb) empty. The unit must be made for the transportation of biomaterials such as vaccines, pharmaceuticals, etc. The unit must be medical grade The unit must have a 27L payload volume The unit must have the following temperature set points: +4°C for refrigerator -22°C for freezer The unit must last five days on battery power The unit must have Grid power of 115V/60HzSee full solicitation document for additional information including submission instructions, evaluation criteria and pricing structure.**AMENDMENT 0001**The due date for the submission of quotes has been extended to 20 December 2019. All other terms and conditions remain the same.**END AMENDMENT****AMENDMENT 0002**This amendment revises the quantity of units required by the Government from six to five and posts responses to vendor questions. All other terms and conditions, including the solicitation response date, remain the same. Please review the revised solicitation document and Q&A for additional information.**END AMENDMENT
