GENERAL OVERVIEW:a. This acquisition is to replace two climate control system condensers for theNational Museum of the United States Air Force’s (NMUSAF) film vault. Thefilm vault houses many irreplaceable artifacts of historical significance and mustmaintain certain environmental characteristics, described below, at all timesb. The film vault is 11,606 cubic feetc. The film vault contains condensed movable shelves with a total of 4,731 linearfeet of acetate and polyester films and film based materials as well as otherarchival documentsd. The existing condensers are Norlake model number: MSO1941e. The existing Evaporators are Heatcraft model number: ADT260AJ
