- Description
- The Army Contracting Command - Warren intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) in January or February 2020 for the M256A2 Chemical Detector Kit (CDK); NSN: 6665-01-563-7473; P/N: 5-77-3497; NAICS: 334511. The RFP will be full and open competition and result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The estimated quantity will be 5,784 Kits plus one 100% option quantity. The Technical Data Package (TDP) is Distribution C (limited to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors) and export controlled. First Article Test (FAT) is required. The Production Lead Time (PLT) without FAT (with Government approved FAT waiver) is 180 days at a rate of 6,000 each/month. The PLT with FAT is approximately 270 days after award at a rate of 6,000 each/month. The FAT Report (FATR) is due 210 days after award. The Government FATR approval time is 30 days after receipt of FATR. Packaging is Military/B; the Special Packaging Instruction number is P5-77-3497, dated 06 May 2019, Rev C. Inspection and Acceptance are Origin. Free on Board is Destination.
