- Sources Sought Synopsis:**This is not a solicitation** The Government is conducting Market Research, in accordance with FAR Part 10, to identify possible sources for a Nutritional Environmental Monitoring System used to measure critical parameters such as temperature, humidity, differential pressure, and light and air changes. This particular piece of equipment will monitor our nutritional medicines kitchen’s refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms, and clean rooms as described in Attachment 1, entitled “Statement of Work.” This Sources Sought is solely for information and planning purposes. The intended purpose is to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet 88 Medical Support Squadron (88 MDSS) requirement. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Furthermore, 88 MDSS is not at this time seeking proposals, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the responding party’s expense. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor this FedBizOpps website for additional information pertaining to this Sources Sought.Requirement: See: Attachment 1 entitled, “Statement of Work.” The Government is in need of a vendor to provide a Nutritional Environmental Monitoring System with the ability to monitor 27 points located in the kitchen and storeroom at the Wright Patterson Medical Center.Capability Statement: All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to produce the requested equipment to the primary point of contact listed below. NAICS Code: 334290 - Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing Acceptable Means of Submission: All submissions must be submitted electronically to the following email address Besse.Cobbins@us.af.mil by 31 December 2019, 1:00 PM ESTAny correspondence sent via email must contain the subject line, “Nutritional Monitoring System.” This correspondence must be contained in a single email, unless otherwise approved, and must not exceed five megabytes, including attachments. Emails with compressed files will not be accepted. Note that email filters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base are designed to filter emails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e., .exe or .zip files). Therefore, if the specified subject line is not included, the email may not get through the email filters. Also, be advised that .zip or .exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the email filters at Wright-Patterson. If sending attachments with email, ensure only .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls, or .xlsx documents are sent. The Contracting Officer will review responses based on the factors listed in this Sources Sought and the information furnished by the Respondent. The Government’s evaluation of the capability statement received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition, a set-aside for small businesses, or any particular small business designation (e.g. SDVOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, VOSB, etc…).
