Description
Notice of Intent and Brand Name. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to solicit and negotiate with Softek Illuminate, Inc. for the Radiology Search Engine License with server for a period of base plus four option years for use at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, 4150 Clement St., San Francisco, CA 94121. Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the Radiology Search Engine License with server for a period of base plus four option years; and is the only manufacturer that can meet the agency s needs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide the Radiology Search Engine License with server for a period of base plus four option years may give written notice to moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by 11:59 EST on December 31, 2019. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 541511 and the size standard is $30.0 million. No telephone requests will be accepted.
