- SOLICITATION NOTICE The General Services Administration (GSA) Southeast Sunbelt Region 4 announces the opportunity for a Request for Proposal to provide design and construction services for the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) (FMCSA) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Work shall include but is not limited to: demolition of existing partitions, installation of new partitions, floor to ceiling glass front partitions and/or fire rated partitions, furnish and install new offices, conference/meeting rooms, break rooms, LAN rooms and associated areas. Work shall consist of new and reused doors and hardware, existing undamaged ceiling tiles and grid will be reused, new and reused light fixtures, new finishes, HVAC modifications, plumbing, sprinkler and fire alarm systems modifications. New power, voice, data, audio-visual systems, and controlled access/security equipment as required. Infrastructure for new systems furniture is also included. This procurement will be set-aside for Total Small Business. The estimated project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. �The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is, 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Small Business Administration size standard of $ 36.5 Million. The Period of Performance for this project is 390 calendar days. This project is to be awarded as a firm fixed price contract.� The procurement method will be a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP).� Award will be made to a firm offering the best value to the Government utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures.� The Request for Proposal is expected to be issued on or about January 2, 2020.� �A site -visit and the offer due date will be stated in the solicitation.� The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: http://www.fbo.gov. No telephone requests for docs will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarification must be in writing, preferable via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be available on the aforementioned FBO posting. Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM).
