- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement, issued in accordance with DFARS 236.272 and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Acquisition Instruction (UAI) 5236.272. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. THIS IS A NOTICE FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID.� THERE IS NO BID PACKAGE, SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.� IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A PROCUREMENT COMMITMENT BY THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE.� NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE.� RESPONSE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY; NO REIMBURESEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS.�� THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR OR SUFFER ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR ANY IMPROPERLY IDENTIFIED INFORMATION. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has a requirement to removing and rebuilding the hydraulic cylinder for the Emergency Drawdown Gate and replace the neoprene seals on both the water passage access and tower access hatch plates. �NWK is seeking capable contract support with interest in the requirement.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is NAICS Code 811310 Commercial and Industiral Machinery and Equipment (except automotive and electronic) Repair and Maintenance.� The small business size standard for this requirement is $8M. Project Description The work includes mechanical rehabilitation of hydraulic steel structures and incidental related intake tower work.� The work is located at Longview Lake in Jackson County, MO. Additional information may be requested after initial response, either from individual respondents or all respondents.� This Sources Sought is the only document that will be published notifying potential offerors of the Government intent of establishing a competitive market base.� To be considered qualified, firms must meet the following minimum requirements: � Company Name (Identify if using a joint venture or partnering).� The following information is required. Experience:� Does your firm have experience in this type of work? � Past Performance: �Offeror�s will need to provide relevant past performance information for the projects used to demonstrate previous experience.� The Government may review past performance information retrieved through the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), including Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS), using all CAGE/DUNS numbers of team members (partnership, joint venture or teaming arrangement) identified in the contractor�s response, inquiries of owner representative(s), Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS).� ��� � Ability to successfully comply with the provisions of FAR 52.219-8, Utilization of Small Business Concerns. Offeror�s are advised that information provided to the Government in regard to the products or devices proposed will be considered for Official Use Only (FOUO) and will not be released to the public or other potential offeror�s.� The government may retain this information for its records indefinitely.
