This project encompasses the work necessary to maintain the stormwater drainage systems east of Taxiway 'J' on Dobbins ARB. Areas where the slopes have failed or where they have been disturbed from previous repair will be regraded and have sod applied to obtain stabilization and positive drainage. Repair and maintenance of the existing storm pipe system will be facilitated through the installation of additional access manholes throughout the drainage system. The corrections of the existing system will be attained via pipe cleaning and lining as outlined in the specifications. In areas where pipe lining is not feasible the system will be repaired through replacement of the existing system. This project will also include the removal of trees on the south side of the runway to a distance established on the approved plans.
