- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Delivery Order (DO) N00019120F0348 to The Boeing Company, under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0001 on 06 November 2019. This order provides for the added requirement of Initial Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Training Program required for the Harpoon India Navy (IN) Shishumar 209 Class Submarine. This delivery order was awarded on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements.� The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Harpoon/SLAM-ER Weapon System and its related equipment. The Boeing Company alone has the technical data, experience, requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills and facilities required to provide the services anticipated under this order. The Boeing Company is the sole owner of technical data for Harpoon/SLAM-ER and therefore is the only responsible source that can meet the Government's requirement.� Accordingly, The Boeing Company is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein.
