- PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE This project will be announced as Solicitation No. W912DR20B0002. This proposed procurement is an INVITATION FOR BID and is 100% Small Business Set-aside,�NAICS 236220�""Commercial and Institutional Building Construction"" with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. Project Description: This project is to construct a standard design Access Control Point, to include Gatehouse, Guard Booths, Search/Sentry Office, inspection canopies, roadways, parking, lighting, traffic control signals, passive and active vehicle barriers with comprehensive control systems, widening existing roadways/intersections, information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, Electronic Security System (ESS) installation, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping and signage, and antiterrorism/force protection measures. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained system. Sustainability/Energy measures will be provided. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards will be provided. Comprehensive building and furnishings related interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 50 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Code (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 10 January 2020, to all authenticated account holders registered with the https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ system. Please note that all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered sensitive.� The Government will issue this solicitation via https://beta.sam.gov/ only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive a government contract award. Vendors must also be registered in Representations and Certifications Applications (included in SAM). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable (236220 listed above) to this acquisition must be in vendor's SAM registration.
