- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division intends to negotiate a firm fixed price, for items below to be used at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia.� The North American Industry Classification System Code 332999 All other miscellaneous fabricated metal product, flexible hose and tubing. This requirement will be set aside 100% small business. �The contract line item (CLINs) is as follows. CLIN 0001 (16) Each, Hose Assemblies 1-1/2� AEROQUIP HOSE ASSEMBLY, 50 FT LENGTH TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: A. HOSE ASSY 1-1/2 in NPS HOSE ASSEMBLY 50 FT LENGTH, 1- 1/2 in AEROQUIP HOSE PART NUMBER 2651-24 (50ft LENGTH) WITH PART #44-412-24-24 ADAPTERS ON EACH END. HOSE ASSY MUST BE MFD USING COMPONENTS FROM ONE MFD. HOSE ASSY�S ARE TO BE ORDERED USING TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS BELOW. EACH HOSE ASSY TO BE 50 ft-0 in LONG AND EQUIPPED WITH IDENTICAL MALE NPT FTGS ON EACH END. AEROQUIP AND PARKER HANNIFIN PARTS CANNOT BE ASSEMBLED TOGETHER. 1-1/2 in HOSE ASSY, 50�-0 in LONG OVERALL, HOSE SHALL BE 1.38 in I.D. X 1.75 in O.D. WITH MAX OPERATING PRESSURE OF 500 PSIG AND SUITABLE FOR FRESH WATER USE. CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE SYNTHETIC RUBBER TUBE, TEXTILE INNER BRAID, TEXTILE OUTER BRAID WITH SYNTHETIC RUBBER COVER, EACH END SHALL BE FITTED A SCREW TOGETHER REUSABLE TYPE HOSE FITTING 1-1/2 in NPTH (DRYSEAL) MALE PIPE THREADS. WETTED PORTION (NIPPLE) OF FITTING TO BE BRONZE. SOCKET (NUT) SHALL BE BRASS OR BRONZE. B. ADAPTER 1-1/2 in NPT FEMALE X 1- 1/2 in FEMALE NH HOSE ADAPTER SWIVEL, 1-1/2"" FNPT (11-1/2 THREADS PER INCH) X 1-1/2"" FEMALE HOSE SWIVEL (NPSH 11-1/2 THREADS PER INCH), WITH BALL BEARING SWIVEL, SERVICE BRASS PART NUMBER 73 C. ADAPTER HOSE, 1-1/2 in FEMALE NOMINAL PIPE THREAD X 1-1/2 in MALE HOSE (NPSH 11- 1/2 THREADS PER INCH) ADAPTER HOSE, 1-1/2 in FEMALE NOMINAL PIPE THREAD X 1-1/2 in MALE HOSE (NPSH 11- 1/2 THREADS PER INCH), SERVICE BRASS PART NUMBER 75 D. 1-1/2� HOSE GASKET PART NUMBER: 5100-190 NOTE: IF HOSE AND FITTINGS OTHER THAN AEROQUIP, MUST BE EQUAL TO AND MEET THE ABOVE SPECS. HOSE AND FITTINGS IN THE ASSEMBLY HAVE TO BE FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURE. This procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Item. The solicitation number is SPMYM120Q0020 and it is expected to be posted on or about 18 December 2019 and posted in BETA SAM, https://beta.sam.gov/. Quotes will be due by 10:00 am EST on 20 December 2019 and may be emailed to the attention of Ricky Smith at ricky.smith@dla.mil.
