- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is N68335-20-Q-0059 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 22020-01. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332510 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This is a Limited Sources requirement with Daniels Manufacturing Corporation (DMC) the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and its Authorized Distributors only qualified offerors may submit quotes. Quote must be valid for a minimum of 60 calendar days after close of solicitation.� All changes to the solicitation will be posted to UNISON. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor UNISON for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. NO hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. It is the responsibility of the vendor to submit quotes electronically, via email, to Desiree Pendleton, Desiree.Pendleton@navy.mil by the closing date of 03 January 2020 12:00pm (EST) or as otherwise displayed at beta.sam.gov The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. DMC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the above pieces of Support Equipment and holds full proprietary data and drawing rights. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE/DRAWINGS TO ALLOW FOR A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. All responsible sources may submit a quote which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This request neither implies nor requests the commencement of any effort. Further the Government shall incur no obligation whatsoever as a result of this proposal request if a contract is not executed.
